Adding Conference Meals

"Conference" means a prearranged gathering with a formal agenda, for consultation or exchange of information or discussion that benefits the state, including seminars, trainings, meetings, and other professional events. A "conference meal" is when the conference provides a meal requiring payment.

  1. Conference agenda is required when conference is referenced unless the claim of conference lodging is associated with an OBM Travel Exception allowing traveler to claim more than the per diem amount. (Exception number must be referenced in comment field or attached as documentation.)

  2. Select Conference Meals for meals not included in registration and are not free.
